[OpenMap Users] Layer Update Problem

Hi

I am plotting items to a layer, and then the mapbean centers on to the
center point of the item. However I have noticed that if the plot has
the same center as the mapbean, then the item doesn't appear on the map
unless I manually rescale, or pan the map. Is there anything I can do
to force the layer to redraw without having to perform these manual
operations?

I have tried to force a projection event with the same projection though
this doesn't work. I have also notiuced that sometimes the
InformationDelegator lights aren't updated correctly unless I perform a
manual scale or pan on the map, on startup, and often when the layers
change.
