[OpenMap Users] Extending OpenMap towards Semantic data

Hi,
 
Doeas anybody tried to incorporate Semantic API (JENA) into OpenMap as a
Spatial data Database provided in visual form. I thinking of
visualization of terrorist attacks history,
or placements of Terrorist groups and so on. Looking through a lot of
resources I have found an ontology dedicated for spatial data, RDF
database of countries and cities.
I am thing of migrating data from http://www.start.umd.edu/data/gtd/ to
rdf or finding other resources that will help me to build up a set of
new layers for OpenMap.

Anyone wants to participate, help or just point some good ideas examples?
