[OpenMap Users] OMPoly.contains( lat, lon ) ?

Hello all.

I am wondering how to check that an area (for example a closed OMPoly)
contains a lat lon coordinate.

How do I do that?

Do I need to project the poly and then translate the lat lon coordinate
to pixel xy and do a poly.contains( x, y )?

Is there another way?
