RE: [OpenMap Users] Serving maps over the web

I extended the MapRequestHandler and the SimpleHttpImageServer to generate
map images in my openmap webstart client. It is NOT very quick (especially
for higher resolution data) and I am still actively looking to replace it
with something better.
