RE: [OpenMap Users] Cant view shp files

Did not see any replay about this, but you need to run:
 
java -cp C:\openmap-4.5.4\lib\openmap.jar
com.bbn.openmap.layer.shape.SpatialIndex -c C:\koppen.ssx C:\koppen.shp
 
to create the .ssx file.
 
make changes as appropriate for the path to the openmap file.
 
I don't know if this has changed in 4.6.

I am trying to modify the SimpleMap Example to view my .shp maps
but i have no .ssx file only
I can view the files with any map viewer.
but the SimpleMap display nothing.
