[OpenMap Users] Problem with World Vector Shoreline VPF data area coverage

I am using WVSPlus VPF data to show my shoreline, but I am having a problem
with filling the areas. The problem is that the data includes areas for
Coasts, Oceans and Countries and I can only specify a single fill color.
That single fill color colors each of those, essentially filling everything
in the world. Is there any way to differentiate these different types of
areas to color them differently? I can jump in and modify the VPF code if
necessary.
