Hi Karl,

You can't find out any information from the picture alone. You'll have
to use other data sources that have coordinate information to nail down
some coordinates in the image (like coordinates of intersections in the
image, building corners, lightposts, etc). It would help to know the
projection of the image, but you can get pretty close by interpolation
of known coordinates.

There are some programs out there that will geocode an entire image for
you if you give it at least 3 known coordinate points in the image.
The more points you give them (like around 9), the more accurate the
geocoding will be. I can't remember any of their names, though a web
search ought to turn up some results.
