Hello group,
I am looking desperatly for a solution for the following problem:
I am using OpenMap 3.7 (because I have to use Java 1.2.2 and Swing 1.1.1 -
device related requirement). How can I add a Rasterlayer to my map (from a
common picture format like JPG/GIS/PNG etc) ??
I tried to plug in classes from later version of OpenMap but I get many
strange errors and I gave up. CSVTiledImagePlugin is also not possible...
Any other ideas. Does somebody know a tools, to convert a picture in any
other format and import this second format then in OpenMap? What about the
projection. I should be able to put the one edge to a long/lat point. I have a
number of points, which I already have put on the map (in long/lat coordinates).
The picture map should fit under it, as a background image.
Could i alternativly use a picture as a OMBitmap icon and stick it to the
map? Any other idea? I know to little about OpenMap to see the big picture of
this software...
Any solution is very welcome. I run out of time...
Cheers,
Karl
