[OpenMap Users] openmap and .Net

Hello All,
I have been trying to use Openmap with c#. I have 2
quick questions regarding this.

1. The imagebutton refresh is really slow. Is there
a way to speed that up? Along that line, is it
possible to have the imagebutton hold the last image
until the next image is ready?

2. Is it possible to just refresh one layer? I am
guessing it is not possible in my situation. I am
using Openmap to plots points from a database.
Everytime the db updates, I need a new plot. Right
now, the entire image updates and I don't want that.
