You could use a csv file and the
com.bbn.openmap.layer.location.LocationLayer, with a
com.bbn.openmap.layer.location.csv.CSVLocationHandler. The javadocs
for those classes have details on setting up a openmap.properties file
entry in the openmap.layers property. No compilation necessary.
