[OpenMap Users] Static non-resizeable label/chart on display

Hi,

I was wondering if someone could give me advice to the best way to put a
chart on my display that will not be resizable.

I currently have color coded images I overlay and they are geospatial and
OpenMap handles it just fine and now I would like to put a chart, either
just plain text in the corner (sort of like the date/time field) that will
always be in the same position when it is resized or zoomed. Better yet I
would like to be able to put a color coded chart (in an image format) in the
corner to convey the same thing. Is there any easy way to do this?
