I guess there are a couple of things to try. The error looks like the
image isn't being found, or loaded properly.

You might want to try referencing the file not as a URL, but as a file
path. The plugin actually tries a couple of things to locate what's
designated to turn it into a URL, so file paths should work, too.

You can also add code to the loadTiles() method to see if an exception
is being thrown by the tracker that waits for the images to load, in
the catch(Exception e) section. I've actually just added some debug
code there myself for future reference.
