Hi All,
I am using my own implementation of a tooltip (a complicated one) when
pointing at specific locations on the LocationLayer (using the MouseMoved
listener of the layer. Instead of firing the event of the built in tooltip,
i am using my own mechanism for drawing a tooltip - when I find the location
I draw it, when I don't I call the repaint() method of the layer).
My problem is that when the scale is large (i.e., I am zoomed out
maximally), calling repaint() takes long time, and the tooltip stays for
long (2 seconds) before it disappears... on smaller scales (when I am zoomed
in), the repaint() is quite quick, thus my tooltip is vanishing quickly once
I move away from the location.
Is there any way to overcome that problem?
