[OpenMap Users] GML Layer

Hello,

I searched the openmap archives and found a post asking if a GML Layer would
be created for openmap.

Don responded:

We don't have a GML layer yet. We hope to have one soon. Galdos
(http://www.galdosinc.com) is preparing to release an open source
Java-GML package that should make this pretty easy to do.

This was posted 05/07/2001.

Has a GML Layer been created for openmap? And/or accompanying
importers/exporters?

Looking through the openmap source it doesn't look like these have been
created. Have this efforts been abandoned? If so, what was the reasoning? Or
are these items still on the TODO list?
