Don

        Sorry... My last request for help had a rather silly request in it

        The reason why I was getting an error at run time with the iame layer was due to me naming the pretty name rather then the class name in the
        layers definition of the property file ! Duhh

        Sorry about that ..

        regards

        Mark.

Don

        Thanks for your help, But i'm having trouble...

I have tried using the CSVTiledImagePlugIn layer but keep getting the following error message at run time... Any Ideas as to what i'm doing wrong?

LayerHandler.getLayers(): Failed to locate property "ImageLayer.class"
  Skipping layer "ImageLayer" *************

This is my property file entry....

## image layer

 plugin.class=com.bbn.openmap.plugin.CSVTiledImagePlugIn
 plugin.prettyName=Image Layer
 # URL of the data file
 plugin.tileFile=c:/data/images/ImageLocation.txt

 # If the csv file has descriptive header line that should not be used for images. (default = true)
plugin.fileHasHeader=false

... I also have tried the link from your FAQ page to help with explaining RPF, but I think the link may be out of date.
        Do you know an alternative ??

(http://164.214.2.59:80/publications/specs/index.html)

        One last thing..

I could not find any CADRG sample data at the geoengine.nima.mil site as suggested, again any ideas?

Thanks for your help

Mark

RPF is a imagery data format. The layer displays images saved in that
format. This might help:

http://geoengine.nima.mil, look for CADRG data.

No, the RPF format is a little more fomal than that.

You might want to check out the
com.bbn.openmap.plugin.CSVTiledImagePlugIn. for displaying basic
images.
