Hi Don,

Am I looking at this wrong? From the attachments, I see that you're getting the same results that I'm getting, but that you're calling it "OK" whereas I'm calling it "wrong." I see that Long Island is getting covered over by fill color and the islands of Martha's Vineyard and Nantuckets are getting covered by fill color. According to the DNC data (and backed up personal empirical evidence), these islands DO exist and therefore should not be filled by phony hydrography data.

Thanks for the pointer to the data. Here's what I get using the
VPFConfig class to configure the layer running in OpenMap 4.6 beta.
Looks OK to me. I get the same result in 4.5.4 with those properties:
