Hi Luke,

The MapBean is a CenterListener, and the CoordDialog finds it from the
MapHandler findAndInit() methods, and the MapBean connects as a
CenterListener. If you have the MapBean, you have a handle to the
projection. I think I would just work on having your coordpanel get an
handle on the MapBean, and then once you know the center and scale of
the AOI, set the parameters on the projection and then set the
projection on the MapBean.

The support objects are just for passing out events to listeners.
