[OpenMap Users] Map Width

Hello Users,

I'm creating a classificaton banner layer for the top and bottom of the map
and was wondering how to grab the width of the map each time it is resized.
I want to put the banner across the entire width of the map. I'm thinking I
need to use the mapbean.getX or getWidth from the JComponent methods. Has
anyone needed to use the map width that could expedite my endevor?
