Hi John,

The DRG maps I have are TIFF files with location information, and they
have border information on them. Seems like you could trim that
whitespace off the edges and use the CSVTiledImagePlugIn to display
them. There isn't anything in OpenMap to do this automatically,
though, and if your DRG files have a different format that may be
something else to deal with.

Then of course, there is the projection of the image versus the map
that would have to be approximated.

No DEM code on this end yet, either. If you think you'd like to
sponsor these additions, please let me know.
