Re: [OpenMap Users] OpenMap 4.6 Beta

Just in case this is the same problem... I had no problem with the CVS
checkout, only with the build. But it ended up being my fault, or
maybe there was a really tiny problem with the instructions.

I made a directory ~/test/openmap-4.6beta.

I went into that directory and did the CVS checkout, which created a
further openmap subdirectory.

Since (working from memory now...) the instructions said I would be
invoking "openmap/bin/ant", I set my OPENMAP_HOME to
~/test/openmap-4.6beta. The build did not work. Then I realized my
mistake. I changed directory into the openmap subdir, set OPENMAP_HOME
to ~/test/openmap-4.6beta/openmap, and from there did "bin/ant", and
everything built and then ran fine.
