[OpenMap Users] Layer on/off based on zoom level

Is there a means to specify a zoom range for layers to be on for? Some
layers seem to have this partially implemented, but is there a Layer
attribute or method that can apply to all Layers?
 
If not, any ideas on implementing this? A Layer extension that contains a
Layer (or collection of Layers)?
 
I've not looked too much into the OpenMap code. Still evaluating its
capabilities in my [limited] spare time. So any direction would be helpful.
