[OpenMap Users] "Measuring Rod" & Blinking OMGraphic

Hi all,

Is there any implementation of a "measuring rod" in openmap ? What I
mean (not sure the US term is correct) is a small bar allways existing
on the map and indicating what the same bar length is actually representing.

I'm working with the openmap 4.4.2 version (but soon 4.5.4 I hope...)

I have another question : is it possible to have a blinking OMGraphic,
or use an animated GIF for a icon ? May be that I should implement a
thread control by myself ?
