[OpenMap Users] DemoLayer

I am using the DemoLayer and modifying it, but when I compile it says it
cannot find OMGraphicHandlerLayer class. I noticed there is no import
statement for it. When I put:
import com.bbn.openmap.layer.OMGraphicHandlerLayer;
in the java file and compiled it with my application, the layers appear. Is
the DemoLayer still valid class to use or has something changed? It seems
to work fine when I put in the import statement. I was just wondering why
it was missing.
