The BufferedLayerMapBean can be enabled in the OpenMap application by
running the app with the -Ddebug.blmb flag. You can turn the buttons
on the LayersPanel to make layers go to the buffered layer by also
running with the -Ddebug.bllp flag.

Th0se components won't help you. You should use the OMScalingRaster,
but that won't help load times either. You should notices no
performance problems after the image is loaded, though.
