RE: Adding images geo-referneced to the map

I actually found what I was missing with the help of Adrian Lumsden. I
needed to call the OMScalingRaster's render method from the paint method
of my layer. Kudos to Adrian and Don for your help.

You code looks fine. How big is the image, and how long are you
waiting for it to load? You might try running with the
-Ddebug.omraster java flag set to get more information about what the
OMScalingRaster is doing.
