SimpleHttpImageServer

I am not sure what the official word is. The ImageServer made references
to the fact that it is not a multi-threaded server. Is the
SimpleHttpImageServer? If not, and we are trying to develop a web app( non
applet, servlet style app ), how can we effectively deal with concurrency
(i.e. 2 or more users wanting to generate a map at the same time)?

Any help would be much appreciated.
