Hi Chhaya,
There are a bunch of options, but the most general way is to configure
your layer so that it reads the text file specified in the
openmap.properties file for that layer as a URL. If the file is kept on
the same server where the applet is loaded from, then it should just
work. You won't be able to access the file from an applet if it is kept
on a different machine than the applet server.
