Thematic mapping

Hi!

Is it possible in OpenMap to create thematic mapping with a method that
displays data as continuous color gradations across the map (something
called grid mapping or surface theme mapping - produced by an
interpolation of point data from the source table) ? We have ESRI layers
on the map.
