How to integrate Openmap with my application

 Dear OpneMapers,

I am building an application which is a paint brush kind of application and i will draw images, shapes ,images based on the user interactions.How can i integrate it with openmap.
I thought of using Drawing tool kind of approach, and add my application (which is a JComponent) as a layer to the MapBean.But how the projection will be handled ? should i define the graphic (by extending OMGraphics) for all the shapes and images.?

I would like to have all the graphics manipulation in my application and only the projection by openmap projection.Is it possible? friends, if any body is using this kind of application please help me .
