More fun with Servlets :)

Hi,

 I've been experimenting with OpenMap for the past couple months and I
would like to use it for a project. The problem is that I would like to
display fairly detailed maps in a browser, but doing so as a standalone
applet requires more memory than I can provide. I thought the answer
would be to use a server to draw the maps. I wrote a servlet using an
ImageServer that produces GIF files. But how do I put that in the
MapBean??? The user needs to be able to interact with the map. Is this
possible? Or is there something else I need to use to accomplish this?
