According to public demand, here are some more details :
I didn't used the MapBean, instead I have a GeoMap object that is basically a
stack of Layers. The user sends a request for a given location, a component
determines the name of the layers needed for this location, they are retrieved
and instantiated, sent to an ImageServer, and the ImageServer returns a GIF
picture.
The idea seemed simple, but the implementation took some time. You can do
everything without any kind of modification to OpenMap.
