Boundary box issues

Hey guys, got your geospatial thinking caps on?

I'm working with a WMS server and it takes a Boundary box (xmin, ymin, xmax, ymax ) as its parameters for co-ordinates. Openmap uses center (lat, lon ) and scale .. i can compute these normally no worries.. but when you zoom out a bit ( say to the max zoom in openMap the App )... you may find that the xmin and xmax are the same ( or with in .0002 of each other )... This poses a problem :) to get around date line isses etc, you assume that the map area is between the points ( which in this case is the .0002 area )... which is wrong... any ideas on a good workable solution ?

Jeff
