Re: GIS conversion utils?

You might take a look at FME from SAFE software (www.safe.com). They
have a trial version.

Also, I think ESRI had some program on their web site somewhere to go
from .e00 to .shp.

And for $245 Manifold (manifold.net) can read .e00 and export to
.shp. Not sure how easy it is.
