Just so y'all know, there is also a SHISPlugIn
(com.bbn.openmap.plugin.shis.SHISPlugIn), which can be used in the
OpenMap app/applet to get images from a SimpleHttpImageServer.

It's good for creating background images if you don't want to store all
the data on your machine, or for testing, if you are trying to set up
the server and want to go to certain locations, etc.
