OpenMap demo question

Hi,

I've got another question concerning the OpenMap demo.
When run and the mousemode is navigation, the coordinates
are displayed below the map. Both in lat/lon and x/y.
Yet the x/y is the "projected" x/y, the x/y of the mouse.
Is there any way to override this behaviour and make
the x/y UTM coordinates instead?
