Hi Brian,
There isn't an easy way to fix it so that OpenMap can view the data as
is.
You could inverse project the data in the file back to decimal degree
lat/lons, but you'd have to know what the projection is. You might be
able to use proj4 to do the conversion outside of OpenMap.
We are working on the problem, but I can't give you a date on when it's
going to be done.
