Order of layers

Hi,

i have 2 layers one for streets and one for points such as stop-points
or churches.
The two layer have different calculate times depending on the data
density.
The problem is now, that the points are not viewed in all cases.
I think the order of drawing is wrong.
The layers are orderd in the layertool
        top -> point-layer
        next -> street-layer

Whats wrong?
