mmm.... I just tried all the samples. The only one where I can
see the actual map is in HelloWorld. Interesing thing is that the
map renders for a second or two, and then it gets replaced by a light
blue hue.
As a clue (that doesn't tell me much :-), if I test with HelloWorld
and modify the properties file to load only the "political" layer,
the map does render, but the layer does not repaint when it should.
That is, if I cover and uncover the HelloWorld window, I end up with
the problem "light blue" canvas.
I tried with Sun JDK, and everything works fine, so this *is* an
IBM jdk problem. Courious thing is that com.bbn.openmap.app.OpenMap
runs just fine.
