Geocoding, Address Matching

There was a program called ADMATCH (1972) developed by the Bureau of Census
that was formerly used for address matching. As I recall it was written
initially in COBOL but may have been rewritten in another language. It is
archived at the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) and is
no longer a part of the Bureau of Census sales program. One can contact the
NARA tape sales program for price and availability.
