Hi Kevin,
Are you calling fireRequestMessage() from more than one mouse event
method (like mouseClicked and mouseReleased, or something like that)?
I'd check to see how many times fireRequestMessage() is getting called.
The layers talk directly to the InformationDelegator, so I don't think
you are being affected by multiple listeners.
