Hi Scottie,

I don't know if you know about the simple examples directory,
com/bbn/openmap/examples. There are some really simple MapBean examples
there.

The MapBean doesn't have a minimum set of properties - You can just
create it and give it an initial projection.

The com.bbn.openmap.app.OpenMap is a pretty simple example of setting up
the bean context, which we also call the MapHandler. You basically just
create it and start adding stuff to it. The OpenMap application is
actually built by the PropertyHandler, which uses the ComponentFactory
to create objects from their openmap.properties definitions. You could
define and create those objects any way you want to, though.

Hope this helps,

Don
