Hi Ian,
With OpenMap 4.2.X, the layers can read data from within a jar file only
if you are running as an application. The jar file should be in the
classpath, and the paths set in the layer should be a relative path to
the desired file/directory inside the jar file, from the root.
For instance, let's say I put my vmap level 0 data in /vmaplv0/[disk0,
disk1, disk2, disk3]. If I wrapped them in the jar file in a data/vpf
directory, the openmap.properties entry for my VPFLayer would be
vpflayer.paths=data/vpf/vmaplv0/disk0;data/vpf/vmaplv0/disk1;etc...
and my data.jar file would be in the classpath.
