Hi Oliver,

You can do this with a minimum amout of code modification. You can
extend the com.bbn.openmap.gui.FileMenu class so it has the contents you
want. You can rename your modified class, or whatever.

Then, in the openmap.properties file, you'll find the openmap.components
property list that contains a fileMenu maker name. That marker name
tells the property handler to look for a fileMenu.class property, which
is below the openmap.components property. Change that fileMenu.class
property to reference your modified class to make the change in the
application.
