I compared the 4.2 and 4.1.1 BufferedMapBean sources.
The only change that I could find was in the
setBackgroundColor that was aded to the 4.2 version.
But this in turn only seems to be calling the base class setBackgroundColor.
Also, I am working with MapBean instead of the buffered
version. The MapBean setBackgroundColor does call repaint
which would be expected to paint itslef and all the children
too. But that isn't the behaviour that I am seeing ...
