Hello Don,

I am sorry but I couldn't find the button mentioned
in the Control Menu. I am using 4.1.1 still and all
there is for the Control Menu are the Mouse Modes.
I checked up the components list in the properties file
didn't have much change there and couldn't find the
button there ... )

The mapBean.setBackgroundColor call that I made were
added to com.bbn.openmap.examples.simple.SimpleMap.java.
I couldn't have the color change in this case.

And yes, the ocean color is what I am looking to change.
