Check out the demo OpenMap applet that is set up at:

http://dstl.bbn.com/openmap

Looking at the source for that page will show you the omapplet.html page
configuration we used. A generic html file is in the openmap/share
directory in the openmap package.

There is a http://dstl.bbn.com/openmap/openmap.properties file (applets
need the properties file in the codebase) which you also might find
helpful. There are shapefiles set up for use there.
