Getting CADRG layer to display

Hi Folks,

I've been trying to display Compressed ARC Digitized Raster Graphics (CADRG)
on Openmap without much success.

Let me start with what I know:

-I have 2 CDs that were produced from Defense Mapping Agency. One is labeled

Series: CDRG
Edition: 2
Stock No: CDRG GNCJNCN I take it JNC is Jet Navigation Charts while
GNC is Global Nav & Planning Charts

The second is labeled:

Series: CDRG
Edition: 1
Stock No: CDRG 5NINM3538

-I have displayed data from the 2nd one on another tool. So I know its good.
-I have set the paths properly in the Openmap.properties file. I know this
because it complained about finding the TOC file. Both CDs have a TOC file
in the RPF home directory.
-I have set projection to CADRG
-I have moved the RPF/CADRG layer to have a higher priority than the default
Political Solid layer
-I have "ajusted" the CADRG palette
-I am running Openmap 4.1.1 on Windows NT 4.0 with sp 6a
-I rebuilt Openmap using JDK 1.2.2 v1
-I've also tried to display data from CIB and DTED cds but to no avail;
correction the DTED displayed squares.

Any ideas? If this isn't the right forum for this question please let me know.
