ok, I found it all by myself :-)

you have to put a gif file in table Graphics
e.g.

image_name -- image

city.gif -- the gif-file itself
city2.gif -- second gif-file

and then the following properties must be set:
citylocationhandler.locationQueryString=select
...,...,'city.gif'..............

citylocationhandler.rawDataTableName=Graphics
citylocationhandler.rawDataColumnName=image
citylocationhandler.rawDataKeyColumnName=image_name
