using VPF

Hi,

Still wrestling with my DCW data. When I look at the entire map of the
world as supplied on CD, it works fine. When I used VPFVIEW to save a
subselection, it doesn't.

I can view the subselection just fine with VPFVIEW. When I try to load it
with openmap however, each layer I add (political, or transport, or
coastline, or whatever) appears in the list of layers, but has no data -
all I see is a blank map. Any ideas?
